Overview

The Midwest AETC program offers training and technical assistance opportunities for health care professionals and clinic teams to build capacity to provide HIV prevention and care services. These services and accompanying resources support public health, community health, and healthcare organizations in accelerating progress toward preventing HIV through whole-person centered care. Training methods are customized to meet the needs of specific audiences and increases the knowledge and skills needed for clinical practice improvements and community-based partnerships. Strategies deployed support meeting the needs of local communities, addressing social determinants of health, and advancing health equity.
