August 18, 2021: The Panel updated the following section of the Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Opportunistic Infections in Adults and Adolescents with HIV. Highlights from the section are summarized below:

Human Papillomavirus Disease:
New recommendation for cervical cancer screening to start at age 21 based on the HIV/AIDS Cancer Match Study with no reported cases of cervical cancer below the age of 25.
